En LAUNCH X431 PROS ELITE is a professional full-system diagnostic tablet designed for workshops that prefer the stability and simplicity of a direct wired vehicle connection.
Unlike X-431 models using a separate Bluetooth DBScar interface, PROS ELITE communicates with the vehicle through its main diagnostic cable. This removes the wireless diagnostic link and provides a stable, low-latency connection during scanning, live-data analysis, active tests, coding and service procedures.
PROS ELITE accesses supported electronic control units throughout the vehicle, allowing technicians to perform:
ECU identification · automatic vehicle scanning · read / clear DTCs · live data · freeze-frame data · actuator testing · adaptations · coding · relearn procedures · diagnostic reporting.
It is designed to move beyond basic OBD-II engine diagnosis and provide professional access to supported chassis, body, powertrain, safety, comfort and network systems.
The vehicle interface is integrated into the wired diagnostic architecture.
This means:
no separate Bluetooth DBScar is required · no Bluetooth pairing · no wireless diagnostic latency · direct cable communication with the vehicle.
The tablet’s Wi-Fi connection is used for software updates, online diagnostic functions, cloud services and internet connectivity — not as the normal vehicle communication link.
Bidirectional diagnostics allow the technician to send commands directly to supported ECUs and components.
This makes it possible to test actuators and circuits actively instead of relying only on fault codes or passive live data.
PROS ELITE provides advanced coding functions for supported vehicles, including:

This is especially useful when the required channel, security access, adaptation sequence or initialization procedure would otherwise need to be located manually.
Support for CAN FD y DoIP extends the diagnostic capability to newer vehicle architectures that cannot be fully serviced using older CAN-only diagnostic hardware.
Depending on the exact vehicle architecture, an appropriate DoIP connection adapter may be required.
View supported live-data parameters in text or graphical form, record diagnostic sessions, compare values, replay stored data and generate workshop diagnostic reports.
Cloud-based diagnostic data and report-management functions are also available through the X-431 software environment where supported.
