The LAUNCH X431 S2-2 SensorBox is an advanced automotive electrical diagnostic module designed to test, simulate and reproduce vehicle sensor and actuator signals, allowing technicians to identify the real cause of complex electrical and ECU-related faults.

Instead of replacing a suspected sensor simply to see whether the fault disappears, the S2-2 can generate a known electrical signal and send it to the vehicle ECU. This helps determine whether the problem is located in the sensor, wiring, connector or ECU.

It can also simulate special operating conditions that may be difficult to reproduce naturally in the workshop, allowing technicians to verify ECU response before replacing expensive components.

LAUNCH specifically designed the S2-2 to simulate common automotive sensors including throttle and pedal position sensors, airflow meters, oxygen sensors, temperature sensors, EGR sensors, crankshaft sensors, camshaft sensors and Hall / inductive sensors, together with additional supported automotive signals.

The module provides two independent signal-generation channels, allowing two signals to be generated simultaneously when required. Output voltage can be adjusted from 0 to 20 V, with square-wave frequency up to 15 kHz and adjustable duty cycle from 0–100%.
